Drawing characters in dynamic points of view can be a difficult task. But when you understand the fundamentals of perspective, presenting them from a variety of angles becomes much more straight forward.
In this demonstration you'll learn how to apply the principles of perspective to a character drawing. I'll take you through a step by step process, start to finish, where we'll construct characters from the top down and bottom up perspectives.
You'll bear witness to the effects of foreshortening on the human figure, and learn how to adjust it's proportions and anatomy according to the perspective it's drawn in.
By the end of this lesson you'll have a better understanding of how perspective is applied to characters, and way more confidence when it comes to foreshortening, and constructing the figure on dynamic angles.
